The Reception Space
Jade and Uche chose Hermitage Hotel to host their wedding reception and it was nothing short of pure elegance. Hermitage Hotel is one of the most classic and beautiful hotels in Nashville. As soon as you walk in you feel like you've been transported back to the 20th Century with its mix of Italian and French Renaissance features in the Beaux-Arts style. In short, it gives me flashes of the Hollywood Tower Hotel (a.k.a. Tower of Terror in Walt Disney World), but maybe that's just me. The lobby, the front desk, the fireplace, all creates a fantastic, ornate atmosphere, and it's the exact same as it was on opening day, September 17, 1910.
One of my favorite ever, "Something Blue" details. Her new monogram inside her dress!

The Ceremony Space
Their ceremony was held at Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett Center. This chapel on the National Historic Register, built in 1928, is stunning! The organ pipes draw you down the aisle. Then once you get to the front and turn around, you are immediately drawn back towards the massive window above the door you just entered in. The wooden pews and endless arches that fill the room feel like they've always been there. Wightman Chapel has an atmosphere of peace inside and outside around the grounds, creating the perfect place to start a new journey as husband and wife.
Happy 5 Year Anniversary to Jade & Uche!
